No, you can mount NanoBracket only on wall or mast.5. What are the differences between NanoBracket holder and the holder for NanoStation from Ubiquity Networks?
There are several differences between NanoBracket and the holder from Ubiquity Networks:
- It is possible to use NanoBracket holder for mounting of the old and the new version of NanoStation 5 and NanoStation 2, while the Ubiquity holder is suitable only for the new version of NanoStation.
- NanoBracket allows the installation of NanoStation 5 and NanoStation 2 devices on a wall or a mast, while Ubiquity holder is suitabale for the installation on a wall or a window.
- In difference from the Ubiquity holder, NanoBracket holder allows you to turn the device in any direction in range of 90°.
- In difference from Ubiquity holder, NanoBracket holder is mounted in the middle of the device what makes the construction more stable and compact.
- In difference from Ubiquity holder, NanoBracket holder has the same color as NanoStation 5 and NanoStation 2 devices, therefore it looks more compact.
- Ubiquity holder does not provide any security of the device, so the device can be easily stolen. While NanoBracket holder uses the screws, therefore it is much more secure.
- The price of NanoBracket is more than 70% lower than the price of Ubiquity holder.6. What material is NanoBracket holder made from?
NanoBracket holder is made from same ABS plastic as body of Nanostation, this means that it is very light and solid.7. What is the reason of such flexibility of NanoBracket holder?
NanoBracket holder contains the hinge, which allows you to turn the NanoStation 5 and NanoStation 2 in any direction in range of 90°. In case of mounting on a mast you can turn NanoBracket in range 360°.8. Does NanoBracket package contain all the needed screws and details?
Yes, all the details needed for the installation are the part of the NanoBracket package.
